Let's help Abuelita's Lolita
Donation protected
It's was about 7 years ago, I moved back home to help care for my elderly mom with my sister Susie. I was not a dog person so living with 3 chihuahuas was a bit of challenge. What I learned about these animals that they were more than pets. They were my mom's protector, support group, roommate, and family. Her siblings have all past away so these dogs were her life. Two of the chihuahuas have passed away because of age. What hurts me the most about the passing of the dogs was my mom's cries for several days. I cried. Pets mean so much to our abuelitas. Pets give our elderly parents happiness and a sense of purpose in life as a caretaker.
So about a year and half ago, my mom got a new dog. Her name is Lolita. On June 2, 2020, Lolita got a hysterectomy to prevent unwanted puppies. On June 7, she just happened to get to the wound and pick on it. A tissue came out so I rushed her to the emergency hospital. Long story short, the emergency hospital asks for $3,938, or the Lolita is put to sleep. I cannot have my mom cry again so soon over a Familia member. Can you help us? Let's help Abuelita's Lolita!!!!
Sincerely,
Eddie Martinez
