Let's get Kathryn a Doula

As all of you know our Kathryn is due to have baby number two at the end of this month.
As you also know this has been a very difficult pregnancy for her - first with a ruptured appendix at five months, coinciding with her mother's admission into Princess Margaret Hospital, followed by her mothers passing - October 17, 2019.
Kathryn and her mom were best friends. At her memorial, Kathryn aptly said "losing her mother was losing the person who loved her more than anyone else in the entire world". When Sam was born Mary Ellen spent most of her days there cooking, cleaning and helping Kathryn with her recovery. This birth Mary Ellen's absence will deeply felt - and this is where we come in...
As Kathryn's community I would like to give her, new babe, Sam & Rob a little extra help during this beautiful and also emotionally challenging time. I would like - with your help - to hire a doula to come for several days after the baby is born to help them with all of the things that Mary Ellen would have done if she were here. The doula will cook, clean, grocery shop and take care of mom and baby so that everyone can have more time to sleep, heal and enjoy.

We are hoping to get to $1000 threshold which would give Kathryn 5 days of help for 4 hours per day. If we pass that threshold well then that's just more help for them and who doesn't need that with a new baby and a toddler right?
I really hope we can do this for her because we all love her so much and know that she would for us.
