Let's get Kari a CURE

Back in 1992 my mom, Kari McDonough started having vasospasms. These spasms are painful and would result in cardiac arrest, her losing consciousness, and would land her in the emergency room and eventually the ICU on multiple occasions. Through the years the spasms would continue to get more and more intense and more and more frequent. Over the past few months the spasms and pain have become a near daily occurrence.
Recently she was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's.
She has been seeing cardiologists and specialists at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and they've informed her of a stem cell trial that was almost through the FDA approval process. The treatments have been approved in Europe and have been curing people with her same conditions. The trial was almost finished in the US but unfortunately they ran out of funding. One of her doctors does stem cell treatments for other conditions and would be willing to treat my mom. The problem is, because it's not an approved treatment  for her conditions, it's all out of pocket expense. Each injection would cost $1300 and the doctor thinks she would need at least two injections to be cured. They would cure the vasospasms and the early onset alzheimer's. A cure would mean no more chest pain, no more irregular heart rhythms, no more shortness of breath, no more brain fog, no more losing consciousness, no more emergency room bills, no more hospital stays, no more heart attacks, and peace of mind for her four children and all of her friends and family that worry about her every day!
