Let's Get Curly to London!
From IWSC :"This prestigious title will be awarded to the individual who demonstrates they have the courage of their convictions, dedication to the industry and passion for real wine. The recipient will have established an early track record in their field, be seen to be ‘going places’, and will already be taking part in the wider aspects of the wine trade, showing commitment and determination in everything they do."

With her wealth of experience as an ambassador for all that we hold dear to the Tasmanian experience, we think it only fitting that we band together as a community to get her to London for this award ceremony at the IWSC Banquet on the 28th November, this year.
To name but a few of Curly's recent adventures in food and wine, some of her most recent job titles/roles within the community include:
- Wine + Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Educator (through Vintage Tasmania, her own organisation). Through bringing the world's wines to those working in Tasmania's wine industry (be they sommeliers, wine buffs, bottle shop staff or hoteliers alike), Curly has worked tirelessly to strengthen the knowledge base underpinning the Tasmanian wine experience for visitors + locals alike. This is a her legacy throughout the state.
- Food Curator Extraordinaire for MONA FOMA, 2019 + 2020 (food, wine + staffing for MONA's Tasmanian Summer Festival)
- Cooking with Curly, as Tasmania's 'Beyoncé of Wine' on Helen Shield's ABC Hobart + Northern Tasmania Radio program fortnightly
- Following on from her twice-won Standout Northern Food Ambassador Award (2017-2018), and continuing in that Ambassadorial vein, Curly will this year visit primary schools to educate, inspire and encourage young people to eat more healthfully, think about local and sustainable food choices and be engaged in their local food markets. Through her visits to TAFE colleges, Curly will also support students to participate in employment opportunities within the industry, for example at festivals such as MONA FOMA.
- Harvest Launceston - Curly was this highly successful farmers' market manager for 2.5 years, championing local, fresh, sustainable and passionate businesses time and again, each Saturday from before dawn until the sun shone high in the sky.
