Let's get Baby Bell better

This is our sweet Baby Bella who is 8 years old and a one of a kind tigerpig (or boxer/pit). She was recently diagnosed with a condition called Cushing's Disease and after 5 months and approaching $8000 in vet costs to date, I have decided to write this on behalf of my boyfriend Sean (Bella's dad) asking for help to be able to continue searching for the answers and treatment she needs in order to someday soon become the happy, healthy, loving dog she once was. 
Where it all started: Following a leg injury this last spring, Bella had a major surgery to repair a torn cranial cruciate ligament (similar to an ACL). The cost of the surgery was $4000. Little did we know this surgery was the result of Cushing's Disease and only the beginning of the ugly effects (excessive thirst and hunger, infection, weight gain, loss of energy, etc.) of this condition. The disease progressed quickly and has since consumed our lives as we watch Bella's health deteriorate and her energetic, loving personality disappear. 2 veterinary hospitals, 4 doctors, countless tests and multiple medications later, the vet bills continue to add up with more tests and various medication trials and adjustments. My little family has been drained dry financially and emotionally. $8000 and counting we sit here today with the possibility of a successful treatment that our vet is confident is within reach if we can stick it out a little longer. With a heavy heart and a whole truck-load of hesitation, I write this post to ask Bella's and Sean's friends and family to show any support you can -- whether it be in the form of donations, prayers, or positive thoughts.
