If you donate $100 or more, your donation will be acknowledged with your family name / team name added to our community wall. This signage will proudly be placed by the entrance of the turf and will remain there for the next generation of sporting athletes and spectators to see and appreciate.
A synthetic training turf...in Margaret River. Help us create our home, grow our club and improve the standard of hockey in the southwest.
We have players from Margaret River representing us at club, state, national and international levels. We don't even have our own ground and we train and play outside our own shire, meaning 208km of travel each week. We will cut that in half with a synthetic training turf in town, walking distance from 4 of the 9 primary schools we have gained letters of support from.
The pitch will be multi use (think soccer, rugby and lawn bowls just for a start!) for that all important sense of community.
The MRHC has an award winning mental health initiative named "Above The Line" which encompasses mental healthiness through it's 5 values (trust, respect, honour, inclusiveness and leadership) and helps create mentors and coaches.
We need some funds to make this happen! So far, we have gained some money from grants and through local sources but we still need your help to make this a reality by the end of 2020
