Dolores Trevino Childers: was born in Sunnyside, WA and grew up with her eight older siblings in Prosser, WA. She and her husband Bill were High School sweethearts and have been married for 35 years. They have 5 grown children spread all around the globe and 3 grandchildren with “more” on the way. She has worked in and served our community in many capacities throughout the years.
Dolores’ world was turned upside down when a simple lump has turned into aggressive cancer therapy. Although the lump was not malignant she has taken an aggressive approach because of a familial history of cancer and the test results indicated that the tumor would not respond well to more conservative treatment. As you can imagine there are many costs, both expected and unexpected when going through cancer therapy for five months.

These funds will go to help cover expenses, lost wages and travel costs.
