Let us RISE Help Ray fight Cancer

Greetings to All Family, Friends, and Supporters,

As many of you have heard,  my family and I are heart broken and devasted to announce that my beloved younger brother Raymond Davila has been diagnosed with two types of Cancer and a disheartening prognosis.  The Oncologist describes it to be a rare case and has started Chemotherapy immediately in hopes of reducing the tumors that are currently inoperable.   

Raymond initially informed us on Father's Day which simply broke our hearts and left us stunned.  The final confirmation of the diagnosis was made on June 30, 2017 which was his 46th birthday.  As we stood by his side, we looked as if a sledge hammer had just knocked us down. 

Needless to say we have all been going through a range of emotions, mixed feelings, a sense of bewilderment and at a loss for an explanation as to the reasons why this happened.  Everyday is filled with uncertainty.  However, since the begining and through it all by his side has been his beloved girlfriend Iliara.

My Brother Raymond is the youngest of 5 and is as most "baby" brothers are, Mom's favorite.  LOL  I truly love him dearly.  We shared many good times and not so good times.  We went many places together.  We shared many experiences together.  However, his favorite pastimes are sports.  He has a BIG personality.  He would fill a room with his smile, laughter, jokes, and ability to make you feel comfortable and special.  Raymond is the ultimate die-hard NY YANKEES fan and is a season ticket holder.  We spent many weekends during the season having huge tailgate parties prior to the games where Raymond would always make a fantastic clam-bake and grill with a passion along side his best friends and family.   

At this point in time as we go through the process of doctor visits, hospital visits, labs, chemotherapy, nursing care, etc, etc, you quickly learn that insurance does not cover everything and the type of consistent treatment that Raymond needs becomes extremely costly due to deductibles, co-pays, and other needs that are not covered by insurance.  In addition, my brother Raymond can no longer work due to his condition which adds more stress to an already stressful situation. 

Therefore, my family, friends and supporters.  I humbly ask on behalf of my beloved brother Raymond Davila for your support, prayers, love & guidance. 

All donations will help to cover medical bills, nutritional supplements, co-pays and deductibles for medical services and any other needs Raymond may have.  

We truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support.  In addition, last but not certainly not least, I personally want to thank Iliara Gonzalez, my brother's beautiful girlfriend.  Thank you for taking such good care of him and standing by his side.  I am grateful and thankful you are there for him and part of our family.  Iliara calls Raymond her King, and she is truly his Queen!!
