Let Timujin Breath

My name is Dias Zhumagaliyev, I am helping my brother to raise funds for treating his son Zhumagaliyev Timujin. My brother lives in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan and he is unable to get fund raising for son's treatment and this is the reason why I am applying for it.

On May 28, 2018, my son Zhumagaliyev Timujin was born in the Perinatal Center No. 1 of Astana (Nur-Sultan). Due to circumstances that no one could really explain, the birth was difficult, which caused hypoxia and ischemia (lack of oxygen in the brain), which led to damage to his brain.
Consequences of the brain damage that we have been facing so far are following: he can’t swallow (tube fed) anything which causes a buildup of liquid (sputum) and ultimately pneumonia every 2 months, so we are forced into the hospitals. Pneumonia treatment needs antibiotics, which also is not doing any good to his body. His organs must fight the infection as well as the impact of large amount of antibiotics.
He can’t hold his head at all, he can’t move his hands nor legs, so in most times he is on his bed. It is also hard to involve a lot of physical activities due to potential convolutions. We can’t put too much on physical activities which causes delay in the development.
There are a lot of other negative consequences of the brain damage, which I am not feeling to describe as it is extremely emotionally hard.
Nevertheless, trying to balance between his well-being and potential risks we began in the shortest possible time procedures to restore the damaged parts of the brain.
First, we carried out a genetic analysis, which showed that there are no genetic diseases. Also, many tests were conducted for any infectious diseases, which also showed a negative result.
The next step was to involve all experts in rehabilitation procedures. So, on a daily basis throughout the past year, we were engaged in medical-physical therapy, bath therapy, massage, a pressure chamber HBOT, which is believed by Israeli physicians to be very helpful.
During the search of all possible ways of rehabilitation, we got acquainted with such a technique as voita - therapy, the ancestor of which is the neurologist Vaclav Vojta from the Czech Republic. It is important to note that Vojta therapy has an incredibly positive result both in our case and in the cases of most children with similar problems.
Moreover, last week (June 10, 2019) magnetic resonance therapy (MRI) was repeated, which showed outstanding positive dynamics in the brain development and according to the doctors of the National Center for Maternity and Childhood, the development of the brain has a positive vector due to Vojta – therapy and many other efforts.
At this point, while continuing all physical activities including Vojta therapy, we are aiming for a clinic in Germany in order to perform the rehabilitation procedures that would, hopefully, assist in the treatment of the damaged parts of the brain. Also, we would like to perform a stem-cell therapy in India, which according to the doctors, would be beneficial. 
We are raising funds for the German hospital that has charged 50.000 Euros for therapies and the Indian stem cell clinic has charged 12 000 US Dollars for the treatment.
So far we have spent most of the savings of the family budget (around 50 000 US Dollars) for maintaining Tim’s development and within next few months we are planning to visit the above-mentioned hospital. The main concern is that, according to many scientists, the brain can be fully recovered within 3 years since the birth, so the time is short.
A promising part of the situation is that Tim does not have a specific part of the brain that is damaged; instead, according to the MRI results, the brain has minor damages but throughout the brain. Docs believe that is should be easier to recover but the treatment can’t wait for too long.
