I am Heba, and this is my family. My life was devastated on October 7th when occupation forces demolished our home, leaving it in ruins.

We were displaced to the Central Governorate, seeking safety for myself, my son, and my husband. In a moment of betrayal, my family's home in the Central Governorate was bombed. We began a phase of displacement from one area to another, finding no safe haven. My one-and-a-half-year-old son couldn't find milk or safety, like other children worldwide.

If I could, I would shield him within my ribs to protect him from shells, fear, horror, and hunger. I want to leave Gaza with my son and husband to start a new life, so my child can take his first steps in a clean environment with clean food and an atmosphere free of fear.
