<div>
 My job has become increasingly bad for my mental health. I've been looking for a new job for 7+ months and so far I haven't been able to find something that will be sustainable both financially and mentally. I have trouble asking for help, but at this point I need to do something.

 The <strong>Escape Burnout Fund</strong> will allow me to quit my toxic job (I work for a certain mass retailer who gutted their Pride collection and then publicly abandoned DEI) and protect my mental health. The money will provide for my critical living expenses for 6 months while I continue to search for a new job.

 My plan for the fund is as follows:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Month 1: focus on REST to recover from burnout while continuing my job hunt.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Month 2: Spend time on creative work, writing my current novel and hopefully finishing the first draft. Get to some of the admin tasks, such as formatting and uploading ebooks to retailers outside Amazon, creating print editions, etc.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Month 3: Start on 2nd draft, more admin. Potentially look for a part time/temp job to cover some of my expenses so I can stretch things further if needed.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Month 4 - 6: same as Month 3
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Note that any funds I don't need will be redistributed to mutual aid such as crowdfunding for rent or giving someone money for groceries.
