Less Pain for Ceci

Please help us make Cecilia have some pain free days.  When Ceci was 3 she would wake up every night in a lot of pain.  She was sent to a Rheumatologist to see if they could help.  She was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disease for children called Mixed Connective Tissue Disease.  This disease is like having lupus, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, and arthritis all wrapped up in one.  Ceci had been doing pretty good with occasional pain.  She has now developed a lot of swelling and extreme amount of pain.  So much to where, she does not want to get out and have fun.  For a 14-year-old she lives her life under a heated blanket while others are outside having fun.  This is heart breaking for her dad and I to watch.  If we up her meds anymore at this time she cannot get her vaccinations, due to the medicine lowering her immune system more.

We are looking to raise money to help get her a swim spa.  So, she can have one way to exercise without pain and help improve her circulation.  The swim Spa has a lane to swim against a current and a hot tub end that will massage her joints to improve circulation.  We will have to run electricity and have a concrete pad before we can attempt to get a spa.  Thank you for any help you may offer!
