Greetings all!!
You know her well. Leslie Borden. She’s a good, true friend, sister, mother, collaborator. The one with a seemingly unending capacity for love, compassion and humor. A woman with a massive heart, quick wit and emotional intelligence. Quick to laugh and sweet as the dickens. But oh, you know she'll tell it like it is. She can cut to the truth faster than Trumpy can Tweet. And we have all benefited from her savage and sage wisdom. Of course, we just simply know her as “mom.” She has been unyielding in the care, support and generosity she has shown to us and to all her friends and family. Not to mention her tireless work in hospice care, for kids in need and for her community.
She’s turning 75! (What??) So we are going to give her a VERY BIG SURPRISE.
(Ok, Mainly, we just wanna make her cry some more tears of joy).
SO WE ARE SENDING HER ON AN EPIC ADVENTURE! She hasn’t been on an overseas trip since we were little kids and it’s about damn time that we spoil her back!!
We’re both contributing a chunk, but we can’t do it without your help! If everybody on this list just gives what they can (no amount is too small! – or large for that matter) we’ll give her the trip of her dreams.
ALSO! If you can think of anyone that we haven’t who might contribute? Such as old childhood friends, family or colleagues, ***PLEASE*** forward this link!!
