Who would have thought that this cute little redhead would have to endure cancer when she turned 18. Having just moved to Arizona with her work, Leslie started having a lot of pain in her back. Hoping it was something simple, she went to her doctor and found out she had another tumor. This one was on her spine and after they did surgery to remove it, she ended up staying in the hospital for 10 days and going to the Rehab Hospital for another 11 days.
Unfortunately being at the end of the year, she had run out of vacation/sick pay and Dave has been working minimal hours since moving to Arizona right as she was going in to have her surgery (praise God he was allowed to be kept on the payroll from his Reno job to have a little income come in on his behalf).
It's our prayer that we can help them raise enough money to get through this tough financial time until she is able to go back to work. Unfortunately, she will still have to do Physical Therapy but, at least, it will be from home and not in the hospital. They will have a therapist come to their home to work with her until she can be released to go back to work.
Any donation amount would help tremendously but, more importantly, we would really appreciate the prayers for her complete recovery from surgery AND that a cure can be found for her cancer.
Right now they don't have any income coming in so we are hoping to get some help to them as soon as we can. Thank you so much, family and friends, for any help and ALL the prayers that you can send their way.
