Leslie's Journey

On February 2nd, our dear friend and co-worker, Leslie Rierson, was diagnosed with breast cancer and learned that it had spread to her lymph nodes. After meeting with her oncologist last week, they also found spots on her liver and pelvis.

Edit** Spots were NOT found on her pelvis, but in her ribs. **

 

Leslie is the friend that goes out of her way to make others feel special and loved. She is good-hearted, caring, and hard-working and we want to help her financially so she doesn’t have to carry that burden.

 

At only 27, she's being forced to make decisions and have conversations about things she shouldn’t have to make. Youth is on Leslie’s side and she is working with a great team of doctors. Her treatment will be extensive and she will begin her first chemotherapy treatment on Monday, February 19th.

With your support, these funds will be used to help Leslie with the following:

*Medical treatment costs (scans, chemo, radiation, and medications)
*Bills and expenses that will add up while she is out of work

The road ahead will be a challenge, but we're sure that Leslie will win this fight! In addition to your financial help, we are asking you to pray that God will heal her.
