On February 6, 2014 Leslie Ford was diagnosed with a large brain tumor. It is affected the pituitary and is starting to affect the left optical nerve. I started to notice a while back that Leslie was struggling for words, she was always tired, she seemed spacey and forgetful. Her thyroid was out of control as was her emotions and moods. We figured it was all due to thyroid.
Last month, Leslie had a car accident that totaled her car. It was because of the accident that they decided to do a brain scan. It was a shock to know that they found a large mass. Doctors believe it has been there for some time 10 even 20 years. Now it has affected her health and she needs it removed. So far we are being optimistic. We know we MUST keep our thoughts positive. We also know we need to ask our community for help.
She will miss work, and our medical bills are going to spin out of control with paying the 80/20 and deductibles. We are trying to raise 6000.00 to cover lost wages and medical bills. We know that it won't cover everything, but we feel it will cover a little over half, and to us, that is good! We believe if people offer 10.00-20.00 100.00 any amount adds up and we believe that miracles happen.

We will keep you all updated, and when Leslie is up and about again, out here at the ranch we will have a huge musical celebration and BBQ for all those who contributed.
