<div>Le documentaire Père 100 enfants (Crave, Canal Vie, Noovo) dévoilait en novembre 2023 que deux donneurs de sperme artisanaux en série, soit M. X et M. Y, avaient engendré plusieurs centaines d’enfants au Québec. La série mettait aussi en lumière que les deux hommes mentaient sciemment aux mères intéressées à leurs services quant au nombre réel d'enfants issus de leurs dons. Et en plus d'être des donneurs de sperme prolifiques, on y apprenait que les deux hommes étaient liés génétiquement. À ce jour, ils sont à l’origine de plus de 400 enfants.

<div>Dans le 4e épisode de la série diffusé le 6 mai 2024, dont la production a été lancée suite à une avalanche de réactions de la part d'autres mamans ayant fait affaire avec eux et de spécialistes interpellés par la situation, le public découvre qu'un 3e homme issu de la même famille donne également de son sperme . De son côté, M. Z, donnerait non seulement artisanalement mais également en clinique de fertilité. À eux seuls, ces trois donneurs ont fait naître plus de 600 enfants.

<div>La professeure en génétique Catherine Laprise signale dans ce dernier épisode le risque important de propagation de maladies génétiques qui découle des agissements de ces hommes, sans compter les risques sur la santé psychologique des femmes et des enfants touchés.

<div>En 2023, un cas similaire est survenu aux Pays-Bas où un donneur avait engendré plus de 500 enfants. Un tribunal hollandais a alors ordonné à l'homme de cesser de donner son sperme, sous peine de lourdes sanctions. Le juge a notamment pris en considération les risques sur la santé psychosociale des enfants issus de ses dons, ainsi que les risques d’inceste et de consanguinité.

<div>Malheureusement, au Québec, M. X, Y et Z continuent à ce jour de donner leur sperme et n’ont aucune intention d'arrêter. En tant que mères d'enfants issus de leurs dons, nous nous devons de protéger nos enfants et ceux potentiellement à naître de leurs dons, car ce sont eux les véritables victimes dans cette histoire. Nous considérons que la situation est déjà grave et voulons les empêcher de continuer. Tel que décrit par le Dr Luc Boileau, Directeur national de santé publique, sur les ondes de Noovo Info le 6 mai, "ces donneurs utilisent des femmes pour un projet malsain et anormal". Nous croyons donc qu'il est temps d'agir.

<div>Ceci est une campagne de financement pour amasser les fonds nécessaires pour engager un recours en justice contre les donneurs de sperme X , Y et Z afin qu’ils soient obligés de cesser leurs activités.

<div>La prestigieuse firme Trudel Johnston &amp; Lespérance, reconnue pour avoir mené de grandes luttes sociales, a accepté de porter la cause devant les tribunaux. Les procédures judiciaires envisagées sont les suivantes : une demande d’injonction interlocutoire puis permanente visant à stopper les dons de sperme des donneurs X Y et Z. Au besoin, toute autre procédure utile à atteindre cet objectif sera également mise de l'avant. Tous les fonds amassés serviront à payer les frais juridiques nécessaires pour défendre cette cause.

As described by Dr. Luc Boileau, National Director of Public Health, on Noovo Info on May 6, "these donors are using women for an unhealthy and abnormal project". We therefore believe that it is time to act.

<div>This is a fundraising campaign to raise the funds needed to take legal action against sperm donors X, Y and Z so that they are forced to cease their activities.

<div>The prestigious firm Trudel Johnston &amp; Lespérance, known for having led major social struggles, has agreed to take the case to court. The legal proceedings envisaged are as follows: a request for an interlocutory and then permanent injunction to stop sperm donations from donors X, Y and Z. If necessary, any other procedure useful to achieve this objective will also be put forward. All funds raised will be used to pay the legal fees necessary to defend this cause.
