HELP FOR CHENG, GARY & FAMILY AFTER BEAR ATTACKED

Donation protected
Hi I'm Wennali, the niece of Leosette Canoy (aka CHENG). Tita Cheng is facing a long recovery after the bear attack and she was critically injured. She is confined in the Edmonton Royal Alexandra Hospital. Her friends wanted to help her and ask me to create this fund raising to support our expenses while staying here in Edmonton for weeks or months depending on the progress. Any help from you guys will be greatly appreciated. We humbly ask for your help. Another fund raising will be created for Ate Analyn Bartolome. Please do support both.
My Aunt (Cheng) is a hero not wearing a cape

We decided to put the money in Gary's personal account. Gary Hansen is the husband of Leossette(Cheng) Canoy.

From Tera:

Our sweet Cheng. I understand first hand wanting to grasp the story. Just how, how did this happen? While it has been hard for Wennali to talk about this, it hard for her to keep remember and telling it. So I'm going to help her try to tell you all. Cheng, Wennali, Ana and Kelly drove up to Bear Mountain Cross Country Ski Trails. They were all going for a walk to see the beauty of the fall colors changing. While the family and friends walk together, Kelly noted he heard something, and he saw the big black bear. When attempting to leave the area in a hurry Ana tripped and thats when the bear attacked her. It was then Kelly and Cheng attempting to assist her, while the bear was trying to drag her in the bushes. Cheng put herself into the middle of the bear and Ana. As the bear attacks Kelly and then onto Cheng, it was evident that they needed help. Kelly and Wennali had to run around to get cell service to call for help. While on phone with 911 there was considerable effort to find there way out to find the RCMP and help getting back to Cheng and Ana. We can't not thank enough the search and rescue and DC services for all their help. Cheng was taken to the Dawson Creek Hospital where the emergency team worked hard and stabilized her vitals so she could be airlifted with our amazing stars team, to the Royal Alex hospital. Cheng had about a 6 hour surgery to repair the extensive damage to her. There is a lot more ahead. She is now still being sedated and on a ventilator, to allow her body to rest for a moment and stabilized. Small as they may be right now. I've seen improvements that gives us hope. Oh our sweet Cheng. How could this have been? That mean mean bear. Cheng is not yet, out of the danger zone. I am in Edmonton with my Dad, Gary Hansen, and cousin Wenn.
She has a few more surgeries coming soon. She is still on ventilator and not awake and conscious. However, we have seen her fighting. We need Grandma Pacit and Jhun to come. Cheng needs the family and support. We have spoke to the doctors and hospital support, in hopes we can get assist in emergency visa. Please pray with us, we can have them here right now.
