<div>I normally don’t ask anyone for anything, less alone help for finances. I have always found a way to manage but today is different. Today I humbly ask for your help to help me cover some of the medical costs for my sweet baby Leon. If anyone knows me, you know how much my sweet little boy means to me. I have had Leon since he was a week old, with his eyes barely starting to open. I bottle fed him every few hours to keep him alive the first weeks of his life until he was old enough to eat on his own. The connection I have with Leon is different and he truly believes I am his mother and gave birth to him. Five months ago Leon had to have a very expensive surgery where he had obstruction in his GI and was hospitalized for 3 days. I managed to pay for the surgery on my own by maxing out my credit cards and CareCredit limit. As you can imagine I have not recovered financially from that surgery yet. Leon once again is needing surgery, this time for obstruction in his urinary tract and is unable to urinate on his own and he is in a lot of pain. Leon is needing to be hospitalized for several days and have a catheter placed in order to clean out his urinary tract. I am devastated that I cannot cover the expenses on my own and feel completely helpless in helping him. VEG gave Leon pain meds and a medication to help with the urine flow and was told that if he doesn’t go to the bathroom on his own within 24 hours, he will need the emergency surgery. As of now Leon has not been able to go on his own and will more than likely need to be hospitalized before 10 am tomorrow. They also estimated the surgery would cost between $5,000 to $7,000 best case scenario.
