Leona's cancer recovery

Donation protected
My sister Leona was diagnosed with breast cancer the earlier part of this year. Once diagnosed, everything went very quickly. Within weeks she had a lumpectomy, no lymph nodes were affected, but it was decided  that chemotherapy  was the next step. She is getting 2 different kinds of aggressive Chemo plus steroids. The steroids keep her up and unable to sleep for 1 - 2 days, then she crashes. Needless to say she has been exhausted after each treatment and unable to function at work. She is currently on FMLA, but will soon run out of PTO (personal time off) time that she is required to use when she goes for her treatments or just can't work due to the treatments in order to get paid. The next step is short term disability of which she will only get 65% of her pay minus taxes. She will be receiving a total of 4 treatments 1 every 3 weeks. 2 types of chemo and steroids. Leona lost her hair 2 weeks after the 1st treatment, so the picture you see is her in her new wig. The chemo makes her nauseous and the steroids keep her up for 1 - 2 days, causing extreme fatigue after they wear off. We, her family would like to give Leona this money as soon as possible to help cover any medical bills her insurance does not cover and to help out with her every day living until she can resume working normally. So, I'm hoping those of you that can, will donate what you can. For those of you that can't, please reach out to Leona with your support, love and hugs.
