Lenny Torres Road to Recovery

Lenny Torres was driving in Pennsylvania on a business trip on Friday March 2nd, when a tree fell on his car. Lenny suffered a severe head injury, fractured vertabrae in his neck, a bruised heart, and both ankles were shattered along with other cuts and bruises from the incident. Lenny was transported to the University of Maryland Hospital Shock & Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
During surgery on his face, the doctors were unable to save Lenny's right eye. Lenny still needs to undergo facial reconstruction surgery and ankle surgery. Right now Lenny is sedated and in stabile condition.
Lenny's wife, Mariana and youngest daughter drove through the night on Friday from Greenville, SC to Baltimore to be with him while he is in the hospital. Local families in Baltimore have graciously opened their homes for a time to give Mariana a place to stay while doctors continue to do procedures and get Lenny to a place where he is able to travel. Once Lenny is able to be transported back to Greenville, the plan is to bring Lenny home to heal and continue treatments.
As you know, there are and will be travel expenses, food, and an unknown amount of medical bills that are going to start piling up as a result of this incident, not to mention Lenny is unable to work right now. At this time, it is unknown how long it will be before Lenny can make the trip back to Greenville or what kind of rehabilitation he will have to go through.
We don't know if worker's compensation is going to assist in the incident at this time, so let's get the ball rolling by helping this sweet family financially in the meantime.
