<div>   This is Lenny, my best friend for 20 yrs and husband for 14 of those wonderful years. For those that are unaware, Lenny has been battling with <strong>Cirrhosis. </strong>This disease does not care that the man before me is kind to the core and always willing to help others. That he was once the proud sole provider who did everything for his growing family. Despite all his efforts and doctor care, it just keeps chipping away at his life everyday.

<div>   Lenny was admitted into the hospital on June 1st, 2025 and was in a comma from June 15th, 2025 (Father's Day) through July 2nd,2025. He fought so hard through all that time. It got to the point he was dealing with multiple organ failure and we were preparing to say our good byes July 1st,2025. By the grace of God he pulled through. He was eventually discharged mid August. For the last 2 1/2 months he has been readmitted more times than we can count. When he is not admitted, we have a plethora of doctor appointments to attend and paracentesis scheduled twice a week.

<div>   It has been made very clear that he will be needing a liver. The problem is that they found blockages in his heart and those needs to be addressed before moving forward. His advanced medical conditions have made these procedures too high risk, that no surgeon has been willing to operate. For now we wait and pray that his health gets better so that doctors could move forwards with the surgeries that are very needed.

<div>   Along this journey I myself lost my job It was our only other source of income thus resulting in a great financial burden. Thanks to your generosity, our vehicle was not reprocessed and you helped us get through this summer. We are not out of the woods yet. There are still many medical/personal expenses that have piled up. I tried searching for a new job but his medical needs are too demanding at this time.
