Lenny Q/Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma

I want to start out by telling you that my father raised me to never beg for money, and to make ends meet no matter what. So I first want to ask you for any prayers and good wishes you want to send along.
As a kid growing up in the projects of Somerville, my father knew what it was like to struggle making ends meet and had to work hard his whole life to give myself and my sister the life we are so privileged to have today. And this is why I am not solely asking for money to help pay the relentless insurance bills my family is undertaking. Whatever is raised for my family, we pledge to donate a percentage to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Massachusetts. This is not just my father's fight! It is the people's that came before him and the people's that will come after his diagnosis.
So who is Lenny Q? For those of you that don't know Lenny is a Vietnam veteran, a husband, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a friend...but most importantly he is a father. A dedicated father to myself and my sister Beth. A father that has taught his kids to always fight, and that is exactly what he is doing! 2 years of battling Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and he has never backed down. He is now in the middle of his autologous stem cell transplant and complications from infections have forced a longer stint in the hospital than previously expected. My family and I are not asking or even expecting much, prayers are first intended. Whatever efforts you intend to send along for the countless therapies my father has undergone and will continue to undergo will be gratefully paid forward to the families that have and will have to deal with the same battle we have endured...this war is not won by a single battle, but by countless battles won over time.
