Lend Matt a hand... because he broke his arm

Donation protected
On Saturday 9/14/19, Matt Marty broke his arm.  In three places!  He had his Gi cut off, got to meet a bunch of beefy paramedics, and was given a very expensive ride in an ambulance.  He then had to explain to the doctors and medical staff at the E.R. what a yadviga/inverted omoplata was.   Not exactly how Matt was planning to spend his Saturday.

Foundations BJJ is a great place to train, but what many people don't know is that the teaching staff are all volunteers.  They aren't paid.  All your dues go back into building and supporting the organization and making Foundations the great place that it is.  Mike, Matt, and Arun all have full time jobs - and they donate their time teaching us BJJ.

The injury Matt sustained during class will prevent him from working his normal job for several weeks - a blow to anyone.  Add to that the ridiculous cost of healthcare and you have a recipe for a lot of stress and uncertainty.  Matt has given so much of his time and energy to so many of us, it's time we give something back to him and help support him through this tough time.

With these funds we hope to:
-Help with healthcare costs
-Support Matt during his time off work
-Raise funds to replace his gi and rashguard
