<div>Hello, my name is Katie. I'm an artist, dancer and performer. I'm an RBT and summer camp manager. I’ve been dealing with chronic health issues for the past 10 years, limiting my ability to participate in the activities I love. After much struggle and perseverance, 6 hospital stays , 3 surgeries, 3 blood transfusions, countless labs and blood infusions; I am now preparing for a long-awaited, major surgery that can help improve my quality of life. This surgery is a crucial step in my journey to better health, but I need assistance to cover the costs of the procedure and to support me during the two-month recovery period.

<div>In recent years my condition has significantly affected my day-to-day. I've found profound joy in working with the disabled community as an aid and advocate for kids, and as a mentor for Girl Scouts Heart of Central California. I've spent much of my life upholding the motto of "building girls of courage, confidence, and character", its my turn to take those values and focus on my healing journey, so as to continue to pour more into the communities I love.
