Le Jeune Dance Company Needs Your Help
When the lights come up, Le Jeune Dance’s productions take the audience on an exciting journey of the beauty and charm, delighting all ages and pouring positive outreach into our community. In the 2018-2019 season Le Jeune Dance Company seeks to reach more audience and asks for your help doing so with the purchase of a travel sprung floor.
Founding Friend Sponsorship
We welcome any size of individual and business sponsorships for the sprung travel floor. Le Jeune Dance Company is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Donations are tax deductible. Donors will be listed as a Founding Friend on our website.
Why a travel sprung floor?
A travel sprung floor can easily be moved from venue to venue making the undesirable hard stage floors or otherwise unconsidered locations a wonderful place for Le Jeune Dance Company to excite the community with dance and enhance the performance quality while at the same time prevent injury and prolong the careers of aspiring dancers.
A sprung floor snaps together from pieces making a complete covering over the exisiting surface. The sprung floor absorbs shocks, giving it a softer feel. Our marley anti slip mats are then placed over. Such floors are considered the best available for dance and high physical activity. They enhance performance and greatly reduce injuries.Le Jeune Dance’s home studio have hand crafted sprung floors in all studios however the performance venues floors are very hard and uneven.The Anderson Center Theater stage must be rigged each production to make it an even surface and yet is still has an unforgiving hard surface. The Blue Ash Amphitheater is concrete with no give as a dancer push of to rise from their toes or land a jump. These hard stage floors are common around the nation. Most theaters are tailored towards the vocal, instrumental and acting performances that do not require the same type of physical exhaustion of a dance production.
