Leila’s Borneo Expedition 2020
Donation protected
Hi! I'm Leila. I'm fourteen years old and in the summer of 2020, I am planning to go to Borneo for four weeks with my school.
In Borneo I am planning to do conservation work in order to help reduce deforestation in one of the world's biodiversity hotspots and to help build schools for young children in the local community.
I would like to raise £500 through donations and will raise the remainder of the necessary funds by fundraising myself in ways such as bake sales, car washes and community events. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
This support means so much to me as it will allow me to understand more about how people in Borneo live and the challenges they face, which will make me more determined to make a real difference.
