On August 28, 2017, my daughter was prematurely called home to be with her Lord. Only 38 years old, she had stuggled with illness for over a year. She was hospitalized this time for almost two weeks, mostly in ICU. The hospital told us every day that she was getting a little better each day. Very early Monday morning after being transferred to a step down unit in the hospital, she suffered a heart attack. The hospital did CPR for 12 minutes and saved her, but she never regained consciousness. They told us that if she made it through the next two hours, she stood a better chance of survival. She fought for life for four more hours, just long enough for all the family to be able to be with her. She passed peacefully at 8:58 a.m. We are overcome with shock and grief. We thought she would one day be coming home to us. She is survived by her maternal grandmother - 93 years old, her mother, her three children and her two cousins. We are requesting help for her final expenses. We are only asking for help with creamation expenses and a permanent urn for her. We rarely ask anyone for anything, but we are desperate because I learned this morning that if we don't have final arrangements made in 10 days, the state steps in and takes her. At that point, she becomes the property of the state and we are completely excluded from her in every way. I am her mother and I'm asking for help so that her children won't carry the grief of the death of their mother as well as having lost her to the state just because we can't afford to help her now. Anything at all that you can give is so greatly appreciated. The words thank you aren't strong enough to express our graditude.
THANK YOU
Margaret - her grandmother
Judi - her mother
Nicholas, Jordan and Indyonna - her children
Alicia and Daniel - her cousins
