Legal fees for the Gartley's

My name is Trish Tait... I have started this campaign to help with legal fees to get the Gartley's house back in their possession. 
The Gartleys have lived across the street from me (in Maple Ridge, BC)for the last 10years. They are concidered "Grandparents of the street" as they care for all our neighborhood children.  They have become family... 
These people were taken advantage of by a "private investor".  Now, they have lost their house to him.  They were not given proper councel.   They were told he was there to help them keep their house... 12 months later, they are without a home.    This investor will not honor his contract.  We are collecting funds to pay the legal fees so these people can take this issue to court.  All they are asking this investor to do is honor the contract he had them sign.  
All funds will go to pay the lawyer. I will put all the funds on a bank draft in the lawyer's name.  The amount currently owing is $9000 and the estimated cost of future legal work/ court costs is approx $15000.
We can not stand by and do nothing... This couple has lived in our neighborhood for a long time and have become family.    We are trying to raise $10000 which is only PART of the funds required.  Any amount helps.
