Legal Fees & Operating Expenses for Modern

As some of you may have heard, after 9 weeks of delays and unkept promises, Governor Lamont went back on his word to allow hair and nail salons to open on May 20, 2020. Modern Barber and Shave decided to defy that order, as it was not made from a public health standpoint, but because "some salon owners were not yet ready." We have spent the time and money making our barbershop a safe place for customers and barbers and were approved by Ledgelight Health District to operate at 9 am on May 20. 9 am this morning, May 21, the owner of Modern Cat Thibodeau was served a cease and desist by a state marshal on behalf of LLHD.
