Legal fees for Colby

I’d like to start off by saying we are thankful for what we have. We truly are blessed with a strong support system. It’s not easy for me to ask for help.


As people close to me may know, I’ve had primary custodial guardianship of my son since he was 4 months old. The reason I was granted primary guardianship is because his mother is unstable. His mother moved 2 hours away from where I live.


Colby has been attending St. Jude’s private school. I’ve watched him learn leaps and grow to know more about our faith. Watching my son grow to know God while receiving the best education I could’ve hoped for is the biggest blessing. He has changed me in ways I can’t express. I will always fight to offer him the best and to protect him from things I’ve left unsaid.


It is not easy, but I am asking for help to pay for our legal fees. We have hired an amazing lawyer who is fighting to ensure that Colby is able to continue to attend St. Jude’s.


Becoming a father changed me for the better. I’ve never been apart from my son long and I don’t want to imagine only seeing him twice a month. We started this case at the beginning of the year while paying for Colby to attend St. Jude’s. My wife and I have exhausted our resources and are still in need of $2,000 for our final fees.


Anything would help and I would be deeply appreciative. I am truly blessed to have primary guardianship of my son thus far. Your help would mean me fighting with no regrets to ensure I get to always be involved in raising my son.
