I find myself reaching out to you during a difficult chapter in my life. I have been incarcerated for nearly seven years, and during this time, I have deeply reflected on my actions and the impact they have had on my family and community. I am writing to humbly ask for your support in raising $3,000 for legal help hiring the Samaritan Project in helping me file a motion for compassionate release. Recently, I tried to petition the court to be a caregiver for my father. Tragically, he passed away during the proceedings, leaving me heartbroken and without the opportunity to help him. The judge ruled that my reasons for release were now moot because my father passed away. However, after discussing my situation with the Samaritan Project, We believe I have a strong case for sentence reduction. An immediate release would be a blessing, I also believe that being resentenced to 120 months (10 years) could lead to my release in 2025. I am hopeful that this path can lead me back into society, where I can contribute positively and reconnect with my loved ones.

I have served more than half of my statutory sentence (12 years) and recognize that my future depends not only on my efforts but also on the support and kindness of those around me and my community your contributions, no matter how small, will go directly toward securing the legal assistance i need to navigate this process and help me move forward. if you feel compelled to assist me, i would be eternally grateful for any donation you could provide. your support shows that compassion and community are powerful forces, and together, we can work towards my release and a chance at a new beginning. thank you for considering my request and for believing in the possibility of second chances.
