We are raising funds for the Peter Ciraolo Scholarship Fund benefiting a band student at Lake Shore High School in Angola NY. This scholarship is to honor our dear friend who passed away on January 2, 2026. He was a dedicated music educator at Lake Shore for 34 years as well as serving as department of music chair for Lake Shore Central Schools k-12. In addition, he was a professional trumpet player who performed throughout the Buffalo area. He was an avid proponent of big band music having formed the Pete Ciraolo All-Star Band that performed in the Buffalo Area for over 25 years. He very generously donated thousands of music works and big band charts to help keep jazz and big band music in the forefront of the music scene. His passion and sense of humor will be sorely missed and we hope this scholarship will be a small token of his legacy.
