Legacy of Haji Alyas Minhas - Help B.C.M Mortuary

Haji was not only a valued member of B’ham Central Mosque, he was also the male lead for ghousal, a role he carried out with distinction - he has helped countless families in the ritualistic washing of the deceased in the context ascribed to in Islam.
His manner and demeanour made the families feel comfort in such a difficult time.
He was known for many of his redeeming qualities, however, at B’ham Central Mosque he was known by the whole community as the brother who we would call upon when hearing of a death of a male relative or friend.

His reputation was earned over the course of 30 plus years where he had carried out the ritualistic wash all over the country and further a field.

B’ham Central Mosque was like his second home, and he spent much of his time working alongside bereaved families in the mortuary, and it was fitting that his Ghousal (ritualistic wash) and funeral prayers took place where he himself had helped so many.
B’ham Central Mosque are in the process of building a new mortuary, it would be a fitting tribute to Haji Alyas if we could help champion this cause as a form of Sadaqa-e-Jariyah (charity) on his behalf.

There currently is a shortfall of approximately £52 000 for the new mortuary, with the help of the community and for those who knew Haji Alyas, we as a family and a community would see it as a fitting tribute and continuation of Haji’s legacy if we could raise the finances needed to build this new mortuary at B’ham Central Mosque

May Allah SWT forgive Haji and show mercy upon him. Grant him comfort and accept his repentance and honour his abode. Expand his place and cleanse him with water and ice and hail and purify him from sins as white clothes are cleansed from dirt. Grant him an abode better than his worldly abode and grant him a family better than his worldly family and entitle him to Jannah and save him from the punishment of the grave and from  the punishment of jahannam.
