Leesa's Lymphoma Battle

About a month ago, Leesa went to the ER and was diagnosed with severe migraines after suffering through weeks of painful pressure in her head. Two weeks later her face began to swell. She pushed through, but the swelling got worse and eventually made it to her neck and shoulders. On Monday, July 10th, she headed back to the ER. It was discovered that she had a mass in her chest as well as fluid in her heart and what they believed was a clot in her SVC. On Tuesday, July 11th, they inserted a drain into her heart to release the fluid and did a biopsy of the mass in her chest. On Thursday July 13th, the results came back and Leesa was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-cell Lymphoma, which is an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

As you all can imagine, there were probably a million things that ran through her mind. Leesa is a mom to three incredible and handsome boys, Seth, Riley, and Jackson. She just started working at Costco and finally found a job she enjoyed. Her and her husband Jimmy recently began exercising and living a healthy lifestyle. And in a split moment, her life, and her family's life, changed.
She began chemo on Friday June 14th and will be doing rounds of chemo every 3 weeks.

During this difficult time, we are asking for donations. These will cover medical bills, as well as incoming bills that will be hard to manage with only one income. Our goal is $10,000 but knowing Leesa and all of the joy she has brought so many people, I have a feeling we are going to greatly surpass this! I know Leesa is going to beat this cancer. And she knows it too.
