We need to fund our new premises to sort and store donations.
We are leedsbabybank.org we are a small team of mothers and professionals from Leeds, we run the baby bank completely voluntarily, we do not take any wages or expenses, every penny donated goes directly to the cause to purchase items we cant donate second hand due the health implications and to pay for our premises that we will otherwise have to fund ourselves. Our mission is to reach out to families across Leeds who need baby hygiene essentials and equiptment. Staggering numbers of families in Leeds are living below the poverty line and are struggling to buy nappies, baby food, post birth sanitary products, baby equipment & clothes, all things that are not often available at food banks.
Our bank will provide essential baby items to those in their time of need. Our essential items are nappies, wipes and formula and we need to purchase and stock these (we also take product donations). Please help us bring this support to the community.. WE HAVE FOOD BANKS AND THEY ARE IN HIGH DEMAND TODAY.. BABIES DON'T EAT FROM A FOOD BANK SO LET'S MAKE SURE THEY HAVE EVERYTHING THEY NEED TOO. BECAUSE NO BABY SHOULD GO WITHOUT DURING THE MOST IMPORTANT YEARS OF THEIR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT. leedsbabybank.org
