Ari's Adoption

A note from Felicia:

Arianna came to live with Lee and I very unexpectedly on April 16, 2015. She was almost 8 months at the time and Lee and I had just found out we were pregnant with our first child about 2 weeks prior. To go from no children,  to having 2 in seven months was definitely an adjustment but we have loved ever moment.  Over the last couple of years we have been caught up in the long journey of adoption and we are now thankfully in the final steps of making it official. In the next couple of weeks, we will be filing the last petition for adoption. After lawyer fees, court cost, and filing the necessary paperwork this step of the adoption process will come to about $2,000. Over the last year and a half we have already had two prior court hearings and numerous visits with our lawyer and others. We are so close to Ari officially being a McInnis and hope to have everything settled by Christmas! Any donations would go directly to the fees associated with finalizing Arianna's adoption. In our hearts, Ari has always been our daughter and we feel so incredibly blessed that we were chosen for her.  She is so creative,  adventurous,  silly,  and kind! We appreciate all of the support and encouragement we have received!
