In Loving Memory of Lee

Lee had a stroke on 8/3 which left her with some weakness and speech difficulties. It was then discovered that she had an AVM (arteriovenus malformation) and a blood clot in her brain right over the motor function part of the brain. This required Neurosurgery on 8/6, and they were successfully able to remove the clot and AVM. Since then Lee has made some progress and then has had some set backs as well. She will have a long road to recovery ahead of her.
Lee is the main financial provider for her family, and she also takes care of her mother and son. She has not been at her current job long enough to qualify for FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) nor Short Term Disability. If her job lets her go due to absences, because she's in the hospital, she will also lose her insurance coverage at the end of the month.
Her daughter, Kira, has remained at the hospital so she can make medical decisions, which means she has ben unable to work. Her daughter Kesta and son-in-law Zach, are at home trying to not only work, but take care of Lee's mother and her son, Rob.
Everyone that knows Lee, knows that she is one of the most caring and giving people. I am starting this with her daughter's blessing to hopefully help lift some of the financial burden off of Lee and her family during this challenging time.
