Lee Clapton’s Gastroparesis Fight

My dear friend Lee, is suffering from a condition called “Gastroparesis”. 

Gastroparesis is a condition in which the stomach empties too slowly. It occurs when the nerve that stimulates the stomach
muscles is damaged by illness or injury. This causes the stomach muscles to stop working as they would normally. The movement of food from the stomach to the small intestine is slowed or stops altogether.

My once healthy friend is a shadow of what she used to be, sitting at 49kgs on the scales from her pre gastro paresis weight of
79kgs.  She's at the point she can no longer care for herself due to her frailty and her husband Russ has had to quit his job to care 
for her.  Exhaustion comes quickly by  just pushing herself to eat/drink something or holding her phone to contact her close friends and family to let them know how she is. The public health system is failing her and the cost of the private system is so expensive to get treatment it puts it beyond  her grasp. 

If people can donate to assist Lee with the costs of living with this illness, seeking help from the private system that she
desperately needs to survive this terrible illness.
