Lee Carlson is a Circle, MT native, and is the classical definition of "cowboy". Growing up in small town Montana, Lee has since lived all over the Western part of the U.S., cowboying and working as a ranch hand for many families.
In February 2018, Lee was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. He was rushed into emergency surgery to have a golf-ball sized tumor removed from his brain, and that was just the start of his long road to recovery. Unfortunately, the cancer has already spread throughout his lymph system, liver, and spleen, on top of being diagnosed with melanoma. He is recovering from the brain surgery awaiting treatment for the remaining cancer.
His bills have been piling up, and his family had even more tragedy strike when his father Ernie was in a severe car accident on his way to visit Lee. Ernie is currently in a hospital in Denver recovering, and is unable to be with his son. His sister Linzy is currently with him in the hospital, but after missing several weeks, needs to return to work soon. His father is hoping to be transferred to recover in the same hospital to be with Lee as he fights this battle, and so Lee does not have to go through this alone. Linzy will be added as beneficiary of this fundraising campaign, as she is best positioned to attend to the medical and travel costs of both her father and brother.
This is an incredible family that has always been there to help their friends when needed. They are kind, giving people, who now need our help. His friends are fundraising to help the Carlson family out with medical and travel costs. Any assistance is greatly appreciated to help this incredible family during this time of tragedy.
