With many of my regular retail outlets temporarily closed and with pop up events not an option right now, sales have declined significantly. I have been creating more opportunities for sales, but labor and operating budgets are needed to commit to these opportunities.
For the immediate, the goal is to keep the current business up and running and to officially bring back my beloved team of my Pastry Assistant and Admin Assistant who make Le Dix-Sept successful. I've been doing by best to keep up on my own but I need my team and I want them to be able to work as they choose to. This fund will go towards the labor costs of our three person team + raw ingredients.
I appreciate everyone who has sent information about the Disaster Relief loans and funds which I have either applied to or am not eligible for. I have been hesitant to launch this campaign but I need the community support in order to keep the business. It hurts my heart to launch this campaign after such a successful crowdfunding campaign that moved the shop project so far forward. After the holiday campaign ended, I received a good amount of responses from people who said they missed the deadline for participating in that campaign. If this was the case, this is an opportunity to participate now.
I know you all have so many choices of where to give your dollars at this time. I appreciate and I have gratitude for all your continued community support.
