The sun was shining bright through our living room window. Laughter filled our room like the sweet spring sunlight that shined through window. Little did we know that the glistening sunlight would be eclisped by an unexpected tragedy. On March 22, 2008, our grandfather passed away due to a heart attack. He left behind an only son, a 14 year old grandson, and a 10 year old granddaughter. After our grandfather's death, our family wasn't sure if the light and and radiant laughter that once we consumed would consume us again. But fortunately, it did. On November 16, 2008, our dog, Lebron, came into our lives. Ever since the day we brought him home and held him in our arms, he's brought our family never ending joy, fun, and love. From running outside with this favorite toys to making funny expressions, there's never been a dull moment. However, recently, those fun filled moments have ceased. Recently, Lebron has suffered from paralysis in his hind legs which renders his ability to walk. Lebron's injury stemmed from a freak of nature fall in our backyard. His helpless yelp of pain still haunts our minds. We want to help Lebron with his recovery, but he needs a $2,500 MRI and possible $6,000 surgery to fix a vertabrae in his spine. Unforutnately, our family can't afford these procedures. So, we're calling on you all to help save our light and joy, Lebron. We're not ready to lose another family member, and more importantly, a part of our hearts. We would appreciate any donations. THANK YOU!
