<div>Heute, am 2.10. mittags, wurde unsere Katze Lilith in Eberswalde Westend von einem Auto angefahren.

<div>Die Fahrerin oder der Fahrer kümmerte sich leider nicht weiter darum. Zum Glück ist Lilith im Viertel sehr bekannt – sie nimmt jede Kuscheleinheit dankbar an und ist zu allen zutraulich und freundlich. So konnte uns eine Nachbarin schnell informieren.

<div>Die Diagnose bei der Tierärztin war niederschmetternd: Ihr Becken ist mehrfach gebrochen und stark deformiert, neurologische Schäden können nicht ausgeschlossen werden. Momentan übersteht die Kleine die Zeit nur dank starker Schmerzmittel. Wir selbst sind im Schock – irgendwo zwischen Hoffen und Bangen.

<div>Die notwendige Operation wird nach Aussage des Chirurgen inklusive Eingangsuntersuchung etwa 3.500 € kosten – Geld, das wir nicht haben.

<div>Erst vor gut einem Jahr haben wir unsere beiden geretteten Katzen an eine FIP-Infektion verloren – trotz kostenintensiver Behandlung, die wir noch immer abbezahlen. Dieser Verlust ist noch nicht wirklich überwunden. Und nun der nächste Schicksalsschlag: Besonders unsere Kinder trifft es schwer, erneut in der Angst leben zu müssen, ein geliebtes Familienmitglied zu verlieren.
