Leaving No Swimmers Behind in 2018

WHY should you support the SHARKS Swim Club???
The SHARKS Swim Club is a family oriented club from a little island in the Caribbean named Saint Lucia. Our goal is to improve the growth of swimming in Saint Lucia and empower our members to embrae the KAIZEN Philosophy, (strive to improve continuously in all areas of life).
Swimming is costly and the SHARKS Board has realised that many of its swimmers due to financial difficulties are incapable of taking part in swimmeets outside of Saint Lucia. Despite ongoing fundraising efforts, parents are still required to pay air travel, accommodation, transportation and meal expenses for one or more of their young aspiring swimmers, often leading to one or both kids missing out on these opportunities.
The first competition which requires the team to travel , will be held in Barbados in May 2018. With our current membership of 30 competitive swimmers, we would like all of them to have the opportunty to participae at this meet.
With a view of reducing costs as much as possible, this GoFundMe page has been setup up to raise a minimum of $10,000 which will go towards offsetting the costs listed above, to attend this competition.
With limited resources, our swimmers have shown resilience throughout the years as they have captured numerous awards both locally and regionally throughout the Caribbean.
Under the theme, "LEAVE NO CHILD BEHIND IN 2018", please, please, please support our fund in making this initiative a success. Whatever financial support is rendered shall be greatly appreciated.
