Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society

The last couple of months, Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society has been hit with some unfortunate and high cost medical bills for homeless and sick dogs and kittens. Sassy, 7-10 year old emaciated Rottweiler, Jake, 3 -5 year old Jack Russell Terrier was diagnosed as heartworm positive and Steely Dan, an 8 week old kitten needed emergency care due to severe bacterial condition.  All these animals were rescued from Animal Control which doesn’t have resources to provide the extensive vet care these animals urgently  needed.   These are just a few of the animals L.AW.S.  has helped with medical care so they can continue on a path to a happy life.  Alone, the medical costs for these 3 animals are $2500 and our funds have quickly been depleted.  Please keep these sweet animals in your thoughts and prayers and any donation would be greatly appreciated.  We are thankful for your support in helping us continue helping animals in our community.
