My last semester of law school is finally here. The past three years have been the most challenging in my life . . . . . . . . and Ryan’s! Thank you all for your encouragement and support. We couldn’t do this without you. I graduate from San Francisco Law School May 30 and take the California Bar July 28, 29, & 30.
The total cost of graduation and Bar preparation is $5,633.97. We need help! We do not know what else to do other than reach out to our family & friends for support. Total costs include:
$3,294 Remaining Tuition Balance (I will not receive my diploma and, therefore, will not be eligible to take the CA Bar in July unless the remaining balance is paid in full)
$500 Good Moral Character Application Fee
$645 Bar Registration Fee
$161 Laptop Computer Registration Fee
$449.99 for Acer Aspire V5-552P-X882 Laptop Computer (I currently use the school library computer for essay exams. I need a laptop computer because, unfortunately, I will not be able to chug along the school’s desktop computer with me during the July Bar)
$583.98 for Hotel Fees (Hotel with full kitchen for three nights during Bar exam days at The Extended Stay in Santa Clara, CA)
The next six months are booked with school, work, and study groups. I am maxed out on financial aid & student loans. My schedule is consumed with study and work, leaving no time for another job. Ryan currently works four jobs just to cover living expenses. We are humbled by these challenging times, but not discouraged! We’re almost at the finish line. Please continue cheering us on and help in any way you can. We promise to continue working hard and finish this race stronger than we started!
