Lease application fees

As of November 1st of 2020, I lost my place of living after being our of work for four months. I had left an abusive home situation around this time the previous year, and I have no idea why I lost my job. Around April they stopped scheduling me at all without explination or reason, and have not been in contact with me since then despite my efforts. As a result of this, I'm about 3,000 behind on prior months rent. Despite me still looking for new work (which as of this pandemic is becoming a Herculean task), I can no longer remain here.
I only ask for help paying the lease application fees for a cheaper apartment I've found nearby, as I currently don't have work but am activley searching.
All I'm hoping is to avoid being homeless this November/December, and to be in a stable enough position to start paying off my debt to my prior landlord.
I cannot go back to live with family (as this was the physically, verbally and otherwise abusive situation I left last year) and the past few times I've attempted to call shelters they've been at full capacity.
