We are raising money for Learning Begins Daycare . We just recently opened our doors to the Johnson County community in December 2019 and are still open and enrolling children!
Laurie Benner the owner is unlike anyone, our staff and parents have ever met. She goes above and beyond for her kids, parents, and staff. Her hours of operation are 5am till 9pm 7 days a week. She did this to help support families whos work schedules didn't match up with daycares in the Johnson county area.
Right now our center has a been effected by the COVID-19 scare that is effecting our county. Our numbers have been lowered due to parents being laid off of work. Learning begins wants to support the essential employees by remaining open and enrolling any children who need childcare so their parents can work during this time!
We would like to help raise money for our staff and families. Our families are effected by work loss due to COVID-19, we are hoping any money raised could go towards food, and bills during this time by those effected.
We are also raising money for new strollers, an AED machine,classroom supplies, and cleaning supplies for the daycare.
Laurie is currently following all guidelines from DHS to remain open for the parents that need childcare. She is a great asset to our community.
Any amount will help and is appreciated, we know lots of families cannot donate as of now but spreading the word about this would help as well.
