Leanne Oleson's Mortgage

Leanne Oleson was fearless.

At 7 she lost her father to leukemia, but she pushed on and grew to become a strong successful woman. Later in life, she experienced more troubles. She was strong enough to step out of an abusive marriage, fight for her kids, and successfully raise 4 independent, loving, God-fearing children on her own. She again reached a difficult turn in life when she almost died from an infection introduced to her body during a surgery to break up kidney stones. But, she survived against all odds and was able to show the power of prayer by being a living miracle.

If she had never told you these things though, you would have never guessed the battles she faced. Because Leanne always had a smile on her face. She laughed and smiled as if she had experienced nothing. Her strength was unbelievable.

Leanne was known for never being able to stop talking to everyone she meets and her love of white wine. She was creative, hard-working, and never selfish. If you were her friend, you only knew too well that no matter what kind of day she had, she would drop everything to help you through a  crisis.

She was wise and compassionate.

She was the best mother a kid could ever ask for. She never missed a dance recital, Taekwondo belt test, or musical.  She was library mom, Boy Scout mom, classroom volunteer, costumer, and taxi. She never once complained about being both a mom and a dad to four crazy kids.

Leanne, unfortunately, at age 52 was diagnosed with stage 4B Uteran Cancer. It was a short four months from finding the tumor in her brain to when she lost her battle with cancer.

No one was ready to say goodbye to such a beautiful, inspiring, woman. God knew though, that her suffering here on Earth had to come to an end and decided to bring her home to once again be with her father in heaven.

Many friends have already given so much, but asked how they could give more. Before Leanne passed away she took out a second mortgage on her house to help pay for lawyer bills from the divorce. We now have a $75,000 mortgage and are hoping with your help, to be able to keep the house.

Thank you for your help, God Bless, and give someone you love a hug because you never know how much time you have left with them.
