To help raise money for leanne baldrys trip to bali for alternative cancer treatment, Gary is to run Tough mudder 2017!.
I think it’s about time I put myself to the test and do my bit.
Leanne Baldry is a dear friend who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She’s been very unfortunate with her recent bout of cancer treatment, and has tried all the NHS has to offer, but unfortunately not had the results she was hoping for. Because of this she would now like to undertake alternative treatment in Bali.
As you can appreciate the NHS will not fund this, so, as well as others, I would like to help.
I'm not alone in this fundraising cause, and a number of Leanne's family and close friends are also doing there bit to raise the money needed to send her away for this treatment.
I have entered this year’s Tough Mudder.
Tough Mudder is an approx. 12 mile, 22 station assault course. The obstacles often play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights, which ranges from hills, mud, climbing the un-climbable and submerging in -20c water.
It is a challenge, and for this I’m asking anyone who would like me to suffer, having the satisfaction knowing any donation you make will go towards Leanne’s treatment, as this will help push me that bit further and complete the course.
The event is booked for the Saturday 23rd September 2017.
Please be reassured that any funds raised will be directly transferred to the charity page that is putting this excellent cause together for Leanne.
